Latest & Greatest
Domaine La Croix Bell. Le Champs des Lys 2005. France > Languedoc. $11.
After two centuries of ownership by a single family, it's not surprising that this estate makes delicious wines. A blend of Grenache and Viognier, this aromatic white has a wonderful stone fruit punch with a refreshing crispness.
Shinn Estate Vineyards. Wild Boar Doe 2004. USA > Long Island, NY. $20.
We just bought Wild Boar Doe (a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec) and a lovely Merlot from this wife and husband effort on the North Fork of Long Island. Fanatically committed to sustainable agriculture, Barbara Shinn and David Page are producing some of the most interesting, complex, food friendly wines in the area.
Mt. Difficulty Pinot Noir 2003. New Zealand > Central Otago. $35.
Wow. This Gold Medal winner has bright fruit, zinging acidity and a spicy, earthy complexity. A seriously good Pinot Noir.
Kosher wines are in stock for the holidays.
Remember, Bottlerocket delivers. We will send you a carry-box with two of each of the Latest & Greatest wines, for $132 plus tax (6 bottles total).
