  • Ousted by the Saint Bruno monastery of the Carthusian Order (for performing childbirth!) Hippolyte Bonal, the would-be monk, decided to focus on his interest in medicinal plants and his background in medicine and pharmacy. The result is a delightful concoction of mistelle, wild mountain plants, gentian root and orange zest that has remained unaltered since 1865.
