  • Located on the Ribero del Duero's Golden Mile, home to Pingus and Vega Sicilia, but technically just outside the D.O. in Sardon, Abadia Retuerta, founded in 1996, deftly juxtaposes a state of the art gravity flow winery with an on-site 12th century abbey turned luxury hotel. For their Seleccion Especial, they ferment 75 of their vineyard's subplots separately before blending and oak aging.
