  • Vecchieterre di Montefili has a winemaking lineage that dates back to the 12th century, when the Fiorentini Montefili family acquired the land, built their, um... fortress and planted vineyards. By the late 1200's, this historic property was donated to the Badia a Passignano abbey, in whose hands it remained until purchased by current owners, the Acuti family, in the 1970's.
