Braida was Giusseppe Bolgna's nickname from his pallone elastico playing days, and it became the moniker of his eponymous winery, now run by his descendants. Their Brachetto is fermented in steel tanks with 3-4 days of skin contact and then the 2nd fermentation, the one that gives it the slight effervescence, takes place in a pressurized tank. Intensely fragrant, with a deep, deep pink robe. Delizioso.
