- Milan Nestarec says he's not a winery. He's a social medium, albeit a fun one, using wine to serve a world view. Barvirka is Czech for color-enhancer, and like teinturier in French, it refers to grapes with tinted juice. Milan wasn't crazy about calling his wine Dornfelder. He doesn't love the grape. Just came to terms with it. And Barvirka is better for sales. Plus, he likes that that no one can pronounce it. (bar-veezh-ka.)
