Located 30 miles southeast of Bologna, Torre was founded in 2000 as a redevelopment vineyard project by the Costa family, imminently enhanced by the discovery of a plot of abandoned Sangiovese vines dating to 1922. For The Tower's, the organically farmed grapes are hfermented in tanks with around 10 days of skin contact. Aging takes place in stainless steel tanks for at least 4 months before bottling.
