Named for the widow of the founder's son, Francois Clicquot, Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin controlled Veuve Clicquot from 1805-1866. La Grande Dame was first released in 1977 to celebrate the house's bicentennial. A collaboration with Yayoi Kusama, the eclectic artist who spent the last 40+ years living in a Tokyo psychiatric asylum before becoming Instagram famous, this limited release is a paean to polka dot bubbles.
